Dr. Steve Piazzale has a Stanford University Ph.D. in Sociology with extensive training in Psychology; he was trained by Right Management as a career consultant, and he also has a Mathematics B.S. from Santa Clara University where he was a National Science Foundation Researcher.

Steve currently works as a colleague of Marty Nemko (including serving as Technical Editor of Marty's book "Cool Careers for Dummies, 3rd edition) and is listed as a career coaching resource in the latest editions of Richard Bolles' classic "What Color is Your Parachute?"

Steve is also a featured speaker on career development issues.  A few of his recent talks  include "Creating Your Personal Brand," "Creating Good Career Luck Through Lifelong Learning, Curiosity, and Flexibility" presented at the San Jose State University Professional Development Center; "Networking: Your Most Important Career Development Tool" at the Stanford University Engineering Alumni Job Fair; and "Negotiation: Getting What You Deserve" presented at Grace Cathedral, C6 networking groups, and the APEC international job fair.

He's also been on many career panels including servicing as a panel moderator at the Development Center and Stanford University and regularly delivers corporate training seminars and workshops on many topics such as Resumes, Networking, Negotiation, Interviewing, Creating a Personal Brand as well as the entire Career Development process.
